Student Leadership

We recently appointed our head students and our student leaders for the 2024/25 academic year. Included in this were our senior college captains and year group captains. We are delighted to have appointed several student leaders, who will oversee 7 different committees in school. Details of our Committees and Student Leadership Structure can be found here.

United Leaders

The United leaders celebrate diversity across the school to actively shape our community and ensure they feel valued and respected.’

Well Being Leaders

The well being leaders are empowered across the school to support physical and mental health of our whole school community.

Literacy Leaders

The literacy leaders take a leading role in driving a love of reading across the whole school helping all students develop the literacy skills they will need for their future

Learning Leaders The learning leaders will actively contribute to the enhancement of teaching and learning experiences within out school. This team also looks at out learning futures and iPad use.

Careers Leader

The careers leaders will contribute to ensuring students at Nether Stowe get to learn and experience many different careers within school.

Eco Leader

The eco leader in school contributes to the maintenance and development of our buildings and facilities, they share valuable insights for new environmental strategies.

Media Team

They are the heart of communication at Nether Stowe, reporting on events and news stories to share with out wider community on social media platforms and through our bi termly school newsletter.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
