This week at Nether Stowe Science Club 🔬🧪, we really cents-ed the excitement with our topic, A Penny for Your Thoughts! 💭💰 First, we put our two cents into designing foil boats and tested how many pennies it took to make them sink—some designs stayed afloat while others went down like the Titanic! 🚢💦 Then, we got our hands coin-siderably dirty testing different cleaners to see which one could make our pennies shine like gold! ✨🪙 And the clear winner? Ketchup! 🍅🥇 Thanks to its acidic properties, it ketch-upped to the grime, dissolving the tarnish and leaving our pennies looking mint condition! 🏆💖 What a saucy experiment! 🤩

WE LOVE MÖLKKY! In today`s college competition of Finnish skittles it was very clear that Beacon definitely does, in a complete U turn from last week, they gained the most points overall and also had the highest participation. 200 points in the bag for them. Second place was narrowly taken by Trent, third place Wall, and fourth taken by Chase. Well done to all participants! #aprouderway

Following a school performance at the Garrick we would love to share some positive feedback received yesterday. A member of the public attended the performance last night and as a parent they were so impressed by how our students presented themselves and interacted. "They were not only talented but also kind and respectful to each other and staff.
